Give an Impactful Year-End Gift
Mayra and Julio
When we first profiled Mayra and Julio Galvan, they were freshman and new to Pan Am. Both were struggling to learn English and working diligently to adjust to their new temporary home. Now, both are fluent in Spanish and English and will graduate in May. They and their family thank God for Pan Am, and for the churches, church groups and donors who contribute to the General Scholarship Fund that makes their education possible.

Won't you consider a 2018 tax-deductible gift to our General Scholarship Fund so we can continue to help students like Mayra and Julio discover their possibilities?
Annual Christmas Service Spreads Christ's Light
The Morris Chapel Choir and Campus Ministry Council's hard and faithful work paid off on Saturday, December 1, as students and staff gathered in worship to celebrate Christ's coming a bit early. Our traditional Lesson and Carols Christmas Candlelight service is a campus favorite, as it provides a special opportunity for the Pam Am community to recall the primary reason the school exists.

Students have now completed their semester exams and are enjoying a much deserved Christmas Break. They will return to campus on Sunday, January 6, for classes resuming on January 7, 2019. We wish all of our students, faculty, staff and friends of the school a safe and blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Sharing Christmas Joy
Immediately following the Lessons and Carols service, the Pan Am community went to the Harte Center for a special Christmas party. After a nice dinner, our students exchanged gifts with their Secret Santa. This yearly event is not only fun, but it helps our 130 Eagles get to know each other better. And, they really enjoy their trip to the mall in Corpus Christi to shop for their special gift!

A Yellow Rose for NHS Inductees
Eighteen Eagles were handed a yellow rose at a ceremony on Friday, November 30, signifying their selection to become the newest members of the John A. Mackay Chapter of National Honor Society (NHS). They were chosen by their teachers not only for academic excellence, but for displaying the four fundamental values of NHS: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. In keeping with a fun tradition, the induction service ended with a “faux selfie” group picture with new and existing NHS members, NHS sponsor Hardy Robertson, Pastor Eric Peterson, Principal Ellie Perez, and President Robert Dalglish. Congratulations to all!

Ordination Service - Pastor Eric
Officials from Mission Presbytery
(Lita Simpson, Doug Dalglish,Walter Mebane, Allen Mosiman and Jane Pettit) joined the Pan Am family in glorifying God for the ministry of Director of Spiritual Life, Rev. Eric Peterson. They visited to participate in Pastor Eric’s service of installation, which was held in Morris Chapel on Sunday, December 2. Pastor Eric joined PPAS’ staff in July, and has quickly engaged himself in campus life. “I am honored and privileged to be working with such a passionate and incredible team at Pan Am,” he says. The feeling is mutual!
